Domino and Fozzie will rule the world!

We’ve booked the flights to Egypt! On Monday I’ll be calling to reserve 2 spots on our tour, and I’ll pay the deposit. We’ll find out by about August 27 if the tour is going ahead, but I’ve been assured by a few of the company tour leaders that Egypt tours are rarely cancelled, and the time we’re going is a popular time.

Things are moving along nicely - now we just have to get prepared. We have to find compact sleeping bags, hiking boots, and lots of mini hand sanitizers. Curt needs a bigger camera bag, I need a camera. Lots to do so it’s good that we have a long time to get ready.

I’m posting from my iPod touch just to see if it will work. I’m hoping to post this way when we’re out of the country.

Fozzie just had his 2nd blood test to check on his liver - and he’s cured! All of his results were better than last time, so we can keep him off his pills and his prescription food. He even lost a pound I think we’ll save about $240 a year on food (at least), and about $420 a year on pills. I’m so glad we decided to get a second opinion. Next up: Domino and his peeing problems….eesh.

My little Foz is 2 today! Hopefully we’ll take him out to play and for a walk, and he can show off his new shiny coat to all his friends. About a month ago we decided to get a second opinion on his liver disease and the vet we saw took him off his prescription food & his pills. Saves us about $110 every 2 months. He has a blood test on Friday to make sure his new healthy food is good enough and that the liver problem didn’t come back. His fur is sooooo soft, he looks thinner, and he seems to be shedding less! I really hope we don’t have to go back to his crappy prescriptions.

Curt was approved to use his vacation days to go to Egypt! Even if they change his rotation. The only crappy part is about 30 minutes before he had his meeting with his boss, I searched the flights online and they’ve gone up by $155.00 per person. So do I wait and see if they go back down…or do I buy soon?!
